We have a few of the STP double-roller disk sets for a JD XP row unit. The edge pattern promotes fractured trench sidewall, meaning your closing system has to work less to close the seed trench. Also, if you have to plant through mud (not that we encourage that), these discs will continue to turn through the mud so that you are less likely to get smeared/glazed sidewalls.
