Decided to sell a rare piece of Hesston’s history. I bought this chopper several years ago for a project but sadly have had no time to tackle it. It’s a full hydrostatic drive articulated machine with an 855 BC Cummins engine set at 350 horse. The cab is kind of rough. It’s got some hydraulic leaks on the machine. It was a functional machine when I bought it. Comes with a 4 row 30” Hesston converging corn head and a New Holland hay pickup head that’s been adapted to fit. Also have an extra cutterhead assembly as well as a big box of random spare parts and service books. Check out these machines on YouTube. They were pretty neat in their day!
