. | What a week. Thursday 6am my son is called from local hospital with them telling him how blood pressure keeps dropping way way too low, cardiac enzyme damage; and it wasn’t long before I was on an ambulance ride to United Hospital ICU in St Paul, where I’m still at. Suspect progression of cancer is affecting other organs, but if I can eat and drink normally over next couple days I can go home. Tough discussion and my decision to forego further chemo and go with palliative care instead. Hoping I can bounce back enough to still have quality of life but it’s a day by day game.
