Northeast Iowa | 34 years old, male.
Generally in good shape except the past year. I started getting back nerve pain problems which peaked in the winter. I started doing stationary bicycling and weight training to a very positive effect.
I still wake up in the morning with pain, but it usually goes away or subsides. I'm able to do most tasks.
This spring with some nice days I take the kids out and they run. I'd like to run too, but my legs just don't work. It's like they forgot how to run. I get instant sharp pain in my hip every other attempted stride. I
Is this just age? I'd like to reverse it and do things I really enjoyed again. Does your body just forget how running works if you don't do it for a while? Id like to be quicker on my feet for basketball, playing with my kids, hustling if there is a crisis.
