I had the auger on my combine wrecked when a corn crib ran in front of it. The mechanic warned me the parts would be prorated and I might have to pay a high percentage of the bill. It was all covered, I didn't complain.
Felt stupid telling the mechanic what had happened. He said it was nothing to be ashamed of, it happens to everyone eventually. He'd even had one farmer's auger fixed after hitting a building come back the day it left the hospital...he hit the auger on an electric pole. | |
