2ft is plenty high. I think ours are 16 inches up from scrape alley floor but we have headlocks. So that adds about 4inches for them to reach over. Also Have 20 inch wall at pregnant heifer pen and it's to high.

Why do you want to go a full 2ft? If pouring concrete wall with 2ft forms. You don't have to fill it all the way full..
