With all the unplanted corn acres, and rain in the forecast again next week and what is planted alot will need to be replanted in my area. Sounds like there is a lot of similar areas. 181 is a pipe dream


Just curious what is your corn average on your farm? Reason I ask is I wouldn't be surprised if many in Illinois would consider 181 a poorer yield yet it is a pipe dream if USDA predicts.


Illinois has a lot of great ground, lot of average and a lot of poor ground. Average in my county is well below 181, have raised better with perfect conditions. (South central)
Be surprised….. 181 would make lots of corn growers in IL very happy.
