Beans had already fell from $17 to $9 in 16 when trump was elected. Likely knocked .50 or so off basis but your statement is factually incorrect. We had went through the normal boom and bust commodity cycle. One could argue the lows lasted longer because of it but this chart doesn’t lie. Btw, I’m pretty certain most of the trump tariffs are still in place.
