Subject: RE: Planting progress

I guess I need to buy a second planter and hire a few guys. I farm a little over a thousand acres completely by myself, plus sell seed and chemical. Only 80 acres are notill. I average around 100 acres a day of planting, working ground, and spraying. In all honesty couldn’t afford to pay someone and get more equipment. I noticed this spring one day that there were 7 new quad tracks running around me. 3 in one 80 acre field. The amount of money spent in equipment the last few years is unbelievable. I’m running anything from 3 year to 30 year old equipment and feel like time has passed me by. I still need around 10 days to finish up. Had 400 acres of beans planted but maybe only keeping 75-125 of them.
