| When selling bred cattle here in SD the vet reads the tattoo. Doesn’t matter if it had a metal tag or not. If the tattoo was illegible, tough stuff, she doesn’t leave the state for breeding purposes. To me it sounds like the new ruling doesn’t care about the bangs tattoo, instead relying on the Eid tag for proof of vaccination? Will be interesting to look back in 5-10 years to see how this impacts the cattle biz. | |
