If you are thinking about doing this to save money, it won't be a money saver. I have used a Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker for about fifteen years. The coffee beans are ground in the coffee maker as I make the coffee. I do it for the flavor, and I also like to control the amount of caffeine. I have had many compliments on my coffee. This is the coffee maker I use. The water you use plays a big part in the flavor and quality of your coffee. I use revers osmosis water.
