The all red Reinkes around here have a very good reputation. The only real negative is that they are a pain in the butt when it comes time to replace the boots because you have to take the joints apart.
Zimmatic has the best joint boots.
Valley has about the best reputation overall with the 8000 series.
T-L have a love-hate following, people tend to either love or hate them. Not sure why.
Electrical leaks are easier to actually get fixed than hydraulic leaks. But a T-L will run with hydraulic leaks while the rest won't run with electrical leaks.
We have everything from T-L to Lockwood but mostly Valleys. Our Reinke is probably the most reliable, but I have way more Valleys than Reinkes so it's not the best comparison. I prefer the Valley/Zimmatic safety wiring over the Reinke. Not a big deal, but if your working on it in the dark an ohm meter will tell you which tower is out of wack on a Valley/Zimmatic. |
