What is the latest you will plant corn?

We were just discussing this at the farm. Typically I hate planting corn after June 5th and would refuse planting after the 10th. But the last 10-15 years I believe we’re witnessing a shift in our seasons. Our early falls have definitely remained warmer than what we used to see. So given this new normal, I wouldn’t be as concerned about later planted corn reaching maturity as I would have been 20 years ago. But still the later planting might get into the hot/dry summer weather for pollination more so than a normal planting date? But that’s always a crap shoot anyways. So I could see going a few days past the 10th of June. But have to take into account the reduced insurance coverage and likely negative affect on the APH. Short answer is it’s gonna be a tough call. Hopefully things open up and we get it all planted soon. Have you gotten anything planted JC?
