Nw Iowa | Last night looked like we had a 2 and 1/2 day window with 80 degrees next two days and wind. Woke up this morning and it was raining. Hopefully just a pop up shower but rather than starting right away this morning will be noon. If it stays warm and windy and NO more rain, some of the last wettest farms may go Sunday, just depends upon when the rain comes on Sunday. We really need the heat to see what is going to make it and what is not so we can figure what has to be replanted. Just about every day has been a jacket or sweatshirt day here this whole spring. Some corn has been in the ground for 35 days and still poking thru in spots. Not pretty but with next weeks weather, everything that makes it beats replanting. I will try and post some non tiled vs tiled pics this weekend. Even in our neighborhood it is wetter to the west than the east so really varies. | |
