It definitely isn't easier than grain farming. That's not why I dislike it. I don't want the commitment it requires to be good at it. Live with the animals, if you will.
When the field operation is complete and machine tucked away, right. It can be out of mind for a bit. Dad still wakes up from dreams thinking he forgot to water the hogs. Hogs been gone since 93.
