indiana | I agree with everything you said until the very end. We raise bulk commodities. We raise raw commodities that have little value until someone else adds value to it. While we need demand, why am I responsible for creating it? Are we raising commodities that don’t need to be produced?
The single best way for me to profit in this production of corn and soybeans is to be a least cost producer with actual production equal too or above the average for my immediate area. In the raw commodity business volume at least cost is usually a winner.
Back to your last comments. Someone else is taking and spending my money to promote everyone’s product. Chevy promotes Chevy, not Ford, not Honda, not any other vehicle.Same with any other product.Ever seen a beer commercial where they just tell you to drink beer? No, they tell you why to drink their beer.
