I had a theory about the "supplies" charge.....Why couldnt a dealer just charge you for loctite or rags, or spray solvents by the whole bottle? Go ahead and charge me for the whole container...use what is needed for my project....then leave me with the rest??? If you need rags/towels....charge me for a whole box...but leave the rest of the unused towels if there are any. If you use loctite...charge me for a whole tube/bottle...but leave me the rest since the tech likely used only 3 drops anyhow.... Etc,etc. I believe this is the most fair way to operate, and it does 2 things. 1) itll boost sales of said products since each customer gets a full container...and 2) its lets you feel like you are getting your moneys worth, no more unjustified phantom costs. The dealer has no problem charging you for every nut or bolt they use...regardless of if it is $0.01 or not, so this method should not be any more trouble.
