Alot of needless crying going on just as usual. Some think if the crop isn't planted by May 1st it's a disaster. Think its funny listening to the Iowa guys whine about have a field of beans left to plant and maybe it's getting too late for that. They will talk about getting pounded with rain only to be on here the next day saying they are planting again. Here in southern IL most have nothing done but that is pretty normal for us. In 35 years have probably planted corn 10 times in June. If it rains for another month I will gladly PP all my corn and head to the lake for the summer. | |
