Leesburg, Ohio | If it came down to having checkoff programs in place, but including the ability for any producer to request a refund, vs not having any producer-controlled promotion and research programs at all, I would accept the idea of having refund requests. last I checked, that is how the corn program works.
I still think that it is unfair to let some producers off the hook for their fair share of the funding for programs that have been proven to help everyone's bottom line. | |
