Southern Missouri | The whole area I farm in has zero headlands , not a single end row anywhere of any kind , it’s because of our furrow irrigation , precision leveled and being so flat as our water travels to low end of field down the bed furrows it has to drain away from the crops , if the end of those furrows are blocked the water won’t drain away so no end rows on lower drainage end of fields and we lay the flexible irrigation tubing across the high ends of fields to distribute the water to the rows, that pic has beer bottle setting on the flexible tubing with the pump running and water is running down that furrow from the high end to the low end
