I’m no help with building your hitch
I would not want a pull tank between the tractor & planter.
I have run saddle tanks and pulled a trailer behind a pull type planter.
If you have lots of fairly large straight fields pulling a trailer is fine. Round the corners and always turn in towards the field. Plant extra large headlands
If you have lots of short rows, odd shaped fields. Saddle tanks are much more nimble
