Boone Co. Iowa | I finished my corn yesterday and beans today. Tuesday night got started on last 50% of acres and by today, most ground was in perfect shape.
I talked to seed dealer who said 20 miles west, guys were getting sprayers stuck. Lots of " squaring off" fields and hoping to come back later 20 miles to the east and 20 miles to the north.
My early planted corn looks good, and early planted beans look pretty good today. Was 89 degrees here.
Going to nephew's graduation in Sioux City tomorrow so will get a chance to see how much is getting done between here and there.
