I milked cows for 22 years and my dad as long before that and have had beef cows for 20 years and have never hired a hoof trimmer, with the dairy cows there were a few over the years that we ended up trimming a little bit,but very rarely far as the beef cows go I refuse to trim their feet. If you need to trim a beef animals feet you better start doing some soul-searching IMO.
