Really, the best advice I can give anyone that's curious about the system is to schedule a test drive at a Tesla showroom. It's free and from what I understand, it's minimal hassle.
If you are doing what you should be doing, while driving, this iteration of FSD, no longer requires a hand on the wheel. The previous version had a steering wheel nag, that required some input on the wheel, occasionally. There is no such requirement with this version, unless the camera catches you not paying attention.  Checking the rear view mirror, doesn't really require moving your head. Really no reason to mess with the screen while driving. No gauges to monitor. Most settings can be done via voice command.
