S MN | Read the contract carefully. Who is responsible for the cost of mortality disposal? Many times an overlooked expense that most likely will be your responsibility. You will at some point have a train wreck, and have multiples of mortalities to dispose of - likely at your expense. Read the contract. Also keep in mind that as a custom finisher, you will be responsible for 100% of your Social Security withholding but will likely have very similar job duties/expectations as an actual employee. As an employee, the integrator would be paying 50% of your SS withholding. Just something to also consider in your cashflow. The cost to demolish/reclaim the site after the building is obsolete is a very real consideration that shouldn't be taken lightly.
