Last I knew, we pay either $99 or $399 once per year for the ability to have limited or unlimited support calls.
I don't think we were billed separately from that for the last couple times our AMS tech was actually on site.
Seems pretty reasonable to me for the support we get.


I was thinking Ag Pro charged for support work. I had to call in as an employee for a customer one day because he refuses to call in there himself and the recording said something about it, but I didn't want to say so without it being fact.

From my experience with GreenStar, you need support, because it is not user friendly for a casual user. I'm sure if you use it all the time, or have used it since the 2600 days, then it's easy to do what you want, but for someone like me who is familiar with about every other technology product except Deere, I have to hunt around looking at pictures until I find what I need.

I get involved with them on Deere planters some, mainly interfacing them with our tractors. Run into them the most with Versatile's and Reichardt GreenFit pulling planters or toolbars. I'm doing enough Reichardt systems I just bought a SF Globe and GS Display to have around for setup work so a customer doesn't have to bring their in.
