Arva, Ontario

My vote is low carrier volume.

"Here", I put out most products by ground rig at 10 gal. On advice of my supplier, if I tank-mix a fungicide, add at least 2-3 more gal, and if you get creative and want to add a plant growth regulator, then no less than 15, 20 is better.  Consider the surfactants in the products, also the oils and emulsifiers to formulate a solid into a liquid or suspension, and it needs some water to dilute it.

Add to that experience. The worst thing that can happen is you have good results with little damage on the first attempt...  then insanity sets in...  you know, doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different result..

Good luck. I might be wrong, but higher water volumes have really chased leaf damage away for us, especially on tank mixes.
