Theoretically running at night might be ideal but for convenience let it run. You may only see .05” difference in evaporation from day to night.
What I do is try to run like 1 1/2 day or 2 1/2 day rotations so that the same places in the field is watered at different times of the day or night. Don’t know if it makes a difference but just what I do.
