Morris, Mb. | Just get a big rotary ditcher and go. After the 2020 flood, we had some ditches really badly plugged with silt and straw. Got dozers and excavators stuck trying to get to them. We ended up buying a t-Rex rotary ditcher and hooked it to our quadtrac. Lots of places we were pushing mud with the bumper of the quadtrac. If we got stuck, we were usually able to back out as it was clear behind. Then we would take a run at it again and get as far in. Keep repeating. Took about 6 hours to clean one ditch 4ft deep and a mile long. We cleaned some municipal drains and were taking out small trees. | |
