Mid-Michigan | I don't see why cleaning a ditch will negatively affect his investment unless he's trying to create duck habitat. I know around here, a private ditch can be a problem. If I were the landowner I'd tell you to go ahead and clean the ditch but I'm not paying for anything. He might also say not to touch his ditch. You have a problem. I know around here, (my area of michigan), almost all ditches are county drains under the control of the drain commission. We do have some private drains. Get ready to foot the whole bill. I've cleaned miles on my own. It sucks. | |
