After trying to run ours on single at the start, I wouldn’t consider running again on single. That might be a question for your electric company.

If I had to do it all over again, choosing highway frontage and 3 phase would be a must. We haul to terminals, but having the option for locals to haul to you with good roads might be a wasteful thought now that seems like a no brainer later. We ran 3 phase 1.5 miles for 50k about 5 years ago. Dont regret it at all.

It’s good to plan early and would suggest having a Milrights person help with the design early on. A lot of small details that can make things work better.
