Subject: Tissue and corresponding soil testing SOP’s to look for deficiencies/low hanging fruit?



20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana
I’d like to do some tissue and soil testing on some corn and soy fields soon. Maybe keep up the tissue testing every other week as well now through the growing season.
My goal is to try and identify deficiencies where I can look to improve my fertilizer program’s going forward.

At what depth(s) should I test soil to go with the initial tissue test? I was thinking a shallower and deeper test both.
