To add to my post, soybean stand was excellent, too much water earlier but looked great throughout the summer but dry in August. Just didn’t put on enough pods! Thanks for sharing experience.


Soybean seed treatment wouldn’t have anything to do with how much rain you got in August. It’s mainly for stand establishment and a small amount of insect protection in the early season and that doesn’t sound like your issue.


That was always my thoughts until this year, stands were ok but treatment was 7-10 bu this year, could tell all year which ones weren't treated. I've never seen anything like it, planted naked beans forever, did trials for years never saw a big gain, but would usually pay for the treatment.
