Subject: RE: New Holland 7090

Sioux County, NWIA
Last year the BR7090 was built was 2012. *Edit* -- I was wrong, see below.

Broken bearing housing, new belts, new pickup tines, new sprockets all before 10,000 bales tells me that thing was used hard or abused. Possibly used in corn stalks given the tine replacement. Even in cornstalks it shouldn’t have needed new belts. Otherwise they were a good baler if kept up, capable of your 3-400 bales in one long day.

If the pickup has had the tines beat out of it already, I would suspect the next thing will be tine bars breaking on the ends, and that is not a cheap or easy fix. At that bale count it will be due for pickup tine bar cam follower bearings if they haven’t been replaced already.
