| With in the past year we’ve had a lot of riff raff on our township gravel road. Our barns are right off the gravel road and because of security and bio security you can never be too sure who’s out there. I’m considering getting security cameras to place on the feed tanks or ends of the barns as a precaution measure against looters, vandals or animal activists. As I started looking into cameras I came to the conclusion that I may be too far away from the barns for these cameras to work. The ends of the barns to my house are between 700-900ft which is too far away for wifi and to have a LAN cord buried that would be a long distance to dig. I’ve also thought about a trail camera but I feel that would fill up with regular traffic driving by and wildlife. So I was curious what anyone else does for cameras on their barns, sheds or out building or what other options are out there. | |
