A reliable security camera system can easily be installed if you have power in each barn have line of site between all the locations.  Find someone with experience in Wireless Point to Point networking and IP cameras.

I have cameras running at irrigation systems that are three miles from home.  The system worked flawlessly for 6 years but I have a power switch failure on top of my bin/tower right now......should be a $50 fix.
