Subject: Swapping from "produce" wheels/tires to normal. 6115M

Garrett County, MD
Bought a 6115M from auction a few years ago. Got a good deal because it was what I would describe as a produce tractor. Normal tractor, open station with canopy, but with tall skinny tires. MFWD.

Always thought when those tires were shot we would swap wheels and tires back to more of a normal setup. Now is the time.

I figure we need to keep a similar height ratio because of the MFWD. I talked to my tire guy and he can figure it out. But the front tires will be huge, as expected.

He said before doing that I should look into possibly switching a gear somewhere to change the ratio for the MFWD. He said he has heard of people doing that, and it would hopefully allow the use of a normal sized front tire.

I cannot find anyone who knows anything about it, so I figured I would throw it out here.

Currently set up with 13.6-46 rears and 13.6-38 fronts.

Any help would be appreciated.
