Manitoba | Since my furnace is very old it may operate differently than newer ones. The lights on the link wont work for me since there is always 110v on the elements one end. when calling for heat the furnaces 24v relay engages which sends 110 to a sequencer and then through to the other end of the heating element. The element then has 220 and it heats. When a sequencer goes bad there is only the 110 volts from one side of the element and no heat. Since the lights indicated on the link are 110-220 they would be lit regardless of the sequencers functioning or not. (Unless they got brighter)
Edit: those first lights you linked would work fine actually, was not thinking clearly on how the sequencers / element were set up, as long as the lights can deal with 220v they will do the trick, if sequencer doesnt close the 110 will only be on one leg so indicator wont light.
I have been fortunate as i have never had an element fail.
