Subject: RE: electric furnace mod, adding element indicator lights

Central, IA
I would use a current switch with an indicator light.

Maybe something like

I have lots of current switches in my grain setup, but none with indicator lights. All of them feed a plc. I’m not sure if it is powered via the induced current or if it would need external power.

This would also show if an element has failed, but still getting power.
