I just came from Illinois to nw Kansas with 712c corn head pulled on I 70 with no problems. I’d put a ball hitch on though if it were me
Why? I trust a decent C hitch more than a ball. Consider the angle stress? The limited connection, from one side.
I see more than a few ball hitch failures. Solid pin, tied in.
