Central KS | If a person could build up with hardface weld in theory would never need to replace the caps. I understand the need to maintain balance on the drum, but the little bit of weld on each one I don’t think would make that much difference, if you were just pretty consistent? I would also pull them out to weld them rather than risk current through the machine.
Is the goal of the APS caps to keep a SQUARE edge for better threshing? Or just to keep built up so crop does not wear into the mount? | |
