| I took an entire truck engine into Canada for a friend about 15 years ago. Since he was a truck dealer I think he knew exactly what I needed in the way of paper work etc. All he told me was "It shouldn't be a problem". Since I naturally look and act dumb with hayseed in my cuffs they let me go in after an hour or two. They told me "not to do it again". I would never try it again either.
I had a bitch of a time getting back into the U.S. three days later and everything was completely in order. Yelling and screaming at me, "Can't you see that stop sign - are you blind - what were you doing in Canada for three days?" etc., etc.
When they finally got through with me they were laughing. | |
