I have lots of current switches in my grain setup, but none with indicator lights. All of them feed a plc. I’m not sure if it is powered via the induced current or if it would need external power.

This would also show if an element has failed, but still getting power.


Do you have these Chinese origin current switches in your grain system? Are they reliable long term? I suspect that the inspection authority here would not allow something with no certification from any agency.
