East Central Indiana | Find someone to work with that is familiar with tissue sampling.
There is more to it than just grabbing part of the plant.
Samples need to be taken from a certain part of the plant at different growth stages.
I always pick in a U shape pattern. Start 100’ past endrows and U shape is several hundred feet long.
If you are too wet or too dry the samples can be useless.
Then you need someone to read the samples and give recommendations on your yield goals. Yes you could do that yourself but if your not an agronomist and if you don’t have enough help to run a sidedress bar then I doubt you have the time to dig into lab results and figure it out.
