Yep, you sound addicted, and spoiled. :)
Thing is, I've got tinnitus. I can hear pretty good when it's quiet around me. Terrible in the wind or noisy environments. I'm a light sleeper too, and I like that. Would hate to start sleeping through noises.
I wear a Cochlear Implant and a Hearing Aid ever waking second and I have Tinnitus bad , but its got better in the last 7 years,
I have no quiet time , only when asleep. So I would sooner hear real noise ,than the junk in my head. For wind I wear a Toque over the hearing stuff and it works pretty good , at keeping the wind noise down.
When I take my hearing stuff off to sleep I hear nothing, and I count on my wife for the hearing. So night time , I'm living on luck.
I think that, very high Ferritin killed my hearing.
I figure that I'm spoiled , as I now have hearing. |
