Subject: RE: Echo vs tiregrabber

SW Illinois
We’ve had a Tire Grabber for a couple years. If someone steals it tonight, I’d be on the phone tomorrow to order another one.

The design of the Tire Grabber keeps the hole in the center of the rib centered make it easier to line up. I’m not sure about the Echo. If I remember right, the Echo uses a cylinder on each arm. It might work fine when new, but I could down the road where the arms wouldn’t always extend or retract evenly. The linkage on the Tire Grabber guarantees they all move together.

The build quality is great. It’s beefy well-designed. Fit and finish is excellent.

I’m pretty sure they can be setup for forklifts. We have ours on either a Case TV380 or a Bobcat T770. We originally bought it for swapping slotted tires on our sprayers, but have also used it for grain cart tires or removing tractor tires (with 1,000# weights installed).
