They are illegal on the interstate.
I heard the fine is a couple hundred but don't know for sure.
I go down the interstate at the speed limit, or what my 5.3 will pull it , which ever is slower.
I wouldn't go past an open scale if I could help it.
I figure the interstate is safer and will probably be enough cheaper to drive, I will take my chances on the fine. FYI
Highway 20 is legal for farm vehicles.
