If you have a collision or a panic stop where will the trailer and head end up? If you have an accident will it automatically be your fault because what you are doing is illegal possibly? How big of a field day could a lawyer have with you after an accident? Do you really want to bet the farm instead of buying a $4-5k used gooseneck or finding another one to rent?
