Subject: Loading/unloading/hauling corn header on lowboy?

North Central US
Has anyone loaded or unloaded a corn header with a combine from a lowboy/detach trailer, when it is laying flat on the trailer?

How easy/bad was it?

I was recommended a 4 wheel/wagon type(with brakes) of header trailer, by the manufacturer, for hauling a 12r30 header I am looking at, but I'm less than enthused at having a 3 to 4 day trip turn into a week long endeavor, with the trailer weaving back and forth, plus no weight on the pickup for a thousand mile trip, with a 7,000 load, through both badlands.

Plus, it currently seems like any trailer that would work for that is either wore out or has a very proud seller, at least the ones reasonably near me.
