Hennepin, IL | The 8430 is likely Autotrac ready, but I could be wrong. Before you go too far with the 7R, see whether it has the unlock in the armrest display or not. If it doesn't, having the armrest display isn't really saving you anything as you can find a used display for similar money as the unlock. Having the ATU is worth something, but not as much as you would think. I think a new ATU is something like $1800. There's a good chance you're not as far down the Deere rabbit hole as you think. Price all one brand new and used and price the other brand new and used and see what makes sense. Make sure you compare apples to apples as your dealer is likely going to price new, and many on here will tell you to pick up a used "X" which will likely be cheaper, but not a fair comparison. The last thing to keep in mind is it appears you're already going to be or are working close with your Precision dealer, do you have a Deere guy that's just as good? How do you feel about working with both instead of just the one? | |
